Scramble up Ravna Gora, nr Varaždin

We took some friends up Ravna Gora on a glorious day in April.   Penny, the dog, also came along for the ride !

This is the exciting start to the walk;  climbing a “ladder” up a 15 ft / 5m rockface.  After this, it was just good, fun scrambling followed by a stiff walk to the top.

What a view   . . .  all the way across Slovenia and Hungary!   We had a great picnic of traditional Croatian food and a cold dry bottle of Grasevina wine. Join us for a day at Trakošćan Castle and climb/walk up  Ravna Gora.
